It was British Science Week this week, so to celebrate the Science Department ran lots of fun experiments during break times to get students engaged in science.
Orange peel sparklers, screaming jelly babies, ethanol rockets, and teachers holding fire in the palm of their hands generated great excitement in the many young scientists that came along to the sessions. On one day, they even had a chance to sample ‘Astronauts Food’ (freeze dried strawberries, bananas and ice cream).
