2022 Ski and Snowboard Trip Waiting List

The available places on this trip have been filled. There will be a waiting list which you may choose to add your name to. For this to happen please complete the forms on the website and return them to school reception, clearly stating the date when they were handed in to the school. You do not need to pay a deposit.

If a place becomes available, it will be in the order of which the names were added. Should you wish to take up the available place there will be a period of SEVEN  days for you to complete the necessary forms and pay the relevant amount of fund to bring your payment up to date with that reached on the payment plan, or the place will be offered to the next student on the waiting list.

The 2022 school skiing and snowboarding trip will take place in Passo Tonale in Italy, during February half term (Saturday, 12 February to Sunday, 20 February 2022). Click here to view an introduction to the trip from Mr Tidmarsh

This resort is excellent for school parties providing facilities to learn to ski or snowboard together with slopes that are more challenging to enable students develop their skills to become intermediate and advanced skiers or snowboarders. The party will be divided into groups of Skiing/Snowboarding ability.

We will be travelling with Snow Traxx Travel Group who specialise in arranging this type of trip for school groups. The full cost of the trip will be £1,300 staying at the four star Hotel Mirella. This is an excellent location, catering superbly for school groups. This cost will include:

  • Full Board Accommodation.
  • Luxury Coach with TV/DVD/CD, toilet, reclining seats.
  • Ferry crossing
  • Hot lunches
  • 6 days skiing or snowboarding (6 hours of tuition each day)
  • 6 days lift pass, covering over 150 km of runs in three resorts
  • All skiing and snowboard equipment, including helmets for all students (not clothing)
  • Personal Insurance
  • A wide variety of evening activities such as ice skating, night skiing, swimming and bum boarding

ALL PARTY MEMBERS MUST TRAVEL ON THEIR OWN PASSPORT. Insurance for the trip is provided by the school and will cover all eventualities including cancellation and return of all monies paid.

Places on the ski/snowboarding trip are limited to 32 on the first come, first served basis. If you wish your child to be included in the trip, please complete and return the consent form and ski and snowboard information form together with a deposit of £200 by 31st March 2021.

We must be able to rely on students being impeccably behaved. A student’s conduct record at school will be considered, should this depreciate to an unacceptable level at any point before we depart, they may be withdrawn from the trip, and money paid will be returned.

If you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at the school (email Caroline Tait).
