Royal Geographical Society Competition

The Geography Department recently ran a competition for the Royal Geographical Society’s “Young Geographer of the Year” with the theme “What makes the Arctic unique?”

We received loads of amazing entries across KS3 with lots of prizes to be distributed. The main winners within school from each year group were Scarlett Tinning (Year 7), Morgan Beedell (Year 8) and Imogen Turner (Year 9). Ten entries have been chosen and sent to the RGS for the national competition, so we will just have to wait and hope!
