John Simpson from the University of Cumbria came in last week to deliver a presentation to the Year 12 students on how to apply to University and specifically got them thinking about what should be included in a personal statement.
The students were reminded to create a UCAS hub account and they can start completing sections on their application now, although submission is not possible until the 3rd September. After half term, students will be attending weekly sessions to support their applications to higher education, apprenticeships and employment.
