During Global Enterprise Week, Year 10 and Year 12 Business Students took part in an Enterprise Challenge. The students presented to a Dragons Den style judging panel, consisting of Barry Ridley from the Cumberland Building Society, Roger Smith of Thomas Graham, and James Porter of Brampton and Longtown Rotary. The winning product from Year 10 was a puppy starter pack, and from Year 12 a customised laces product. We are very grateful to the ‘Dragons’ who came into school and gave their time and expertise to our students.
Year 12 were also interviewed by Inspira and the local media this week about the upcoming general election, while Year 13 students spoke to their year group about Brexit and how it could impact on them in the future.
