Congratulations to two of our Drama students who won their classes at the Carlisle & District Music & Drama Festival this week. Nicole Todhunter (Year 11) won first prize in two classes: Class 82 Shakespeare Solo – Open and Class 55 Prose Reading – Open. She also came joint second in Class 91 Short Dramatic Scene (Acting) – Open.
A Level Drama student, Dylan Rhodes pipped Nicole to first place in the Short Dramatic Scene (Acting) – Open Class. In addition, the adjudicator awarded Dylan a special trophy – the Joe Wallace Memorial Salver – for his excellent performance in the competition. Dylan has also been invited to perform his acting scene at the Festival Gala Concert on Saturday evening at St. Cuthbert’s Church in Carlisle.
A big well done to our two talented winners – we are incredibly proud of them both!
