Exceptional Student Receives Headteacher’s Award

Well done to Gwen Mearns in Year 11 who received this week’s Headteacher’s award. Gwen is a student who sets the highest standards at all times, in every lesson and around school. Her most recent data report showed 9 out of 11 Exceptional Behaviour for Learning scores and she is our highest attainer in Year 11 with many grade 8s and 9s. Alongside this, Gwen is committed to training to be the best swimmer she can be, training before and after school each week. Gwen competed in the Scottish finals just before the Christmas break – she really is a stand-out student!
