Our gavel (aka a mallet borrowed from the Technology Department) was flying today! The day was filled with Year Group auction assemblies where students were able to use their accumulated House Points to bid on exciting prizes, including pizza deliveries, vouchers, doughnuts, a film screening, queue passes and much more.
We’re particularly grateful to Carlisle United Football Club and Carlisle United Community Sports Trust for the tickets, scarves, flags and a signed football that they generously donated for the auctions. Also, a big thank you to Fusion Trampoline Park for the vouchers they donated too. There was a great deal of furious bidding for these sought-after items.
Prizes were also awarded to students in each year group for the most number of House Points gained during the term, as well as the most number of ‘Learner of the Lesson’ nominations.
