A massive congratulations to all the students who are picking up their results today. We hope that they reflect the hard work and effort they have put into their school work over the last five years here at William Howard School. It has been great to speak to many of the students and their parents this morning and to share those moments of celebration with them. Whether it was the student with 10 straight Grade 9’s, to those who have their required grades for apprenticeships and college courses we wish them all the very best. For the handful of students not yet decided on their next steps we are available as always to help.
There is certainly a sense of relief that the recent confusion over the results has been resolved and that now we can all concentrate, once the BTEC results are published, reflecting on what a terrific group of students Year 11 were. They richly deserve the grades they have received and the manner in which they have coped with the disruption to their final year of school. As a school we are proud of them and their achievements. Well done!
