Year 12 student Furkan Yildiz received the Headteacher’s Award this week, having been nominated by his history teachers who were impressed with the way he approaches his studies in A Level History. With English as his second language, studying complex Early Modern and American History is a greater challenge, but they have been amazed by his effort and progress. Furkan always puts in the hours and consistently gives 100%. Furthermore, he is a delightful young man who personifies our values of resilience, responsibility and respect. Mr Walker and Mr Priddle feel privileged to have him in their class and are understandably proud of him.
