Do you think there was much fun to be had during Medieval Times? Mr Campbell’s Year 7 History class headed out to the sports field on Friday to find out.
They’ve been studying Medieval England and what life for people in different social groups was like. They discovered that some of their pastimes and games included skittles, tug-of-war, apple-bobbing, ring toss and hammer throwing.
Judging from the students’ smiles when they tried some of these games, people in the Middle Ages knew just how to have fun!
