All WHS students and staff have a House Team. Our four House Teams are named after Tanzanian Trees: Acacia, Baobab, Mpingo and Ndizi.
Students can earn ‘House Points’ in lessons and in events such as Sports Day or the WHS Bake Off, or through a host of competitions. At the end of each academic year, the House Cup is awarded to the House Team with the most points.
Introducing our Heads of Houses
Why Tanzanian Trees?
In 1987, William Howard School began a link with a school in Tanzania. Over the years, groups of our Sixth Form students have visited Uru School and we have welcomed many Tanzanian pupils visiting WHS.
