Today we had the pleasure of welcoming Kelly McClelland into school to run a two hour dance workshop in relation to the Centre for Advanced Training (CAT) scheme. The session aimed to challenge and inspire dancers in areas of technique and creativity, as well as provide an insight into pre-vocational dance training. Students from Years 7, 8 and 9 took part in the workshop and created some lovely movement.
The scheme is run in connection with North West Dance and The Lowry Youth Dance Partnership. Students wishing to find out more or to audition for the scheme can get more information from Miss Serrechia and they can visit the Lowry website for updates: https://thelowry.com/get-creative/young-people/dance/
