Here at William Howard School, the Drama Department is pleased to be able to offer students the opportunity to develop their performance skills by studying for a LAMDA examination. Students have the chance to study the Acting Solo syllabus in peripatetic lessons and to be entered for a suitable grade examination.
Yesterday, our LAMDA teacher, Ms Lewis, introduced a group of Year 7 and Year 8 students to LAMDA in a taster session. Students were introduced to the syllabus in a fun workshop session.
Ms Lewis said: “I’m delighted by the level of interest and enthusiasm shown by the students during the session. I’m looking forward to working with this new cohort.”
