Please be assured that unspent school meal balances can be returned to your ParentPay Parent Account as part of our school closure process. We are currently working on our plans to support children of Key Workers and therefore politely request that parents do not send individual requests for refunds. School staff will be working next week to communicate our plans and to ensure refunds can be handled promptly where this is necessary. Thank you for your cooperation.

Further to earlier communication, please note that our advice regarding dinner money refunds has changed. We have taken the decision NOT to automate refunds of unspent balances. With the situation evolving rapidly, and following discussion with many of our customers, it has become clear that automatically refunding all unspent meal balances will not be the best course of action.
There are a range of different approaches that schools and caterers are adopting to deal with outstanding balances for school meals, as well as varying strategies to manage the onward provision of meal services for children of Key Workers. Schools wishing to refund school meal balances should ensure that ParentPay receive funds BEFORE refunds can be processed.
