Respect Day for Year 7

Friday 11th June will see Year 7 enjoy a day focused on the theme of Respect as part of ongoing character development.

Students will participate in a range of sessions and workshops designed to promote tolerance, kindness and awareness of prejudice. We are delighted to welcome artists Ransom and Chiedu as part of this initiative, as well as Street Style Surgery and the Community Policing Team. There will be wider opportunities to enjoy Art or Cookery connected with other cultures.

Respect, responsibility and resilience are core values at WHS and we look forward to our Year 7 embracing these fully on Friday.

Year 7 will have an alternative timetable on Friday and will therefore not require their usual class books or PE kit. All year 7 students should attend the launch assembly at 8.45 in the Hall where they will receive their timetable for the day.
