The dangers of Internet resources, including social media platforms, have been shown in sharp relief in recent times. Like so many tools and opportunities, the Internet offers students benefits as well as dangers.
Safer Internet Day 2024 takes place on 6th February 2024, with celebrations and learning across the UK based around the theme ‘Inspiring change? Making a difference, managing influence and navigating change online’.
Building on their learning earlier in the academic year, students were asked for one piece of important advice that they would give to others of their age and younger, to inspire the change that they want to see in the role and influence of the Internet.
