Year 9 Business Enterprise students presented their “WHS Selection Box Dragons Challenge” to the WHS Dragons on Monday afternoon. The formidable WHS Dragons asked a range of challenging questions to the teams; Nate Coady, Dylan Nettleship, Bradley Forster and Dan Hopper.
For the challenge the teams had researched and presented their ideas on bringing a new selection box to the festive market following the success of non-chocolate, high priced advent calendars that have proved best sellers over the past few years. The students all presented using the following format:
- Name of Product
- Target Audience
- Cost to Produce
- Why the selection box should be the chosen one.
Selection Box ideas included a French designed box linking to our twin towns (Marmagne and Berry Bouy), a vegan selection box, a charity donations box with voucher codes, a premier league box with donations to lower league clubs and a 2020 selection box with hand gel and masks. The winning pitch was for scented candles with unique fragrances. The winner was Dan Jones who was presented with a selection box from Year 9 Director of Learning, Miss Mulholland.
