Skillful Cooking

An appetising aroma drifted from the cookery room this afternoon where Year 8 students were making chicken and vegetable stir fry. It was their final practical cooking lesson of the term and they were developing knife and hob skills as well as safe food handling and hygiene. They’ve made a range of sweet and savoury dishes this term, including vegetable couscous, pasta bake, chocolate and beetroot cupcakes, and mini pizza. Delicious!
