This is an interactive challenge adapted by the Charlie Waller Memorial Trust for parents to do at home with their children.
The idea is to encourage young people to think positively about their mental health; it’s based around the ‘Five Ways to Mental Wellbeing’ which are the basis for our ‘William Howard Six Steps to Wellbeing’: Connect, Be Active, Keep Learning, Give to Others, Be Mindful and Value our Environment. We will post one of the challenges each week for the last five weeks of term. There are some great ways to reflect on what has happened over the last few months and ideas to fill the gaps when students have some free time, now and into the summer break.
More information about the ways to wellbeing can be found on our school website here and on https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/stress-anxiety-depression/improve-mental-wellbeing/.
