Science Technician

Grade G5A/B currently £19,698 p.a.* | 22 hours per week / term time 40 weeks per annum  [38 weeks term time plus 2 weeks]

Required immediately, we are looking to appoint a Science Technician. Under the guidance of senior staff, provide specialist support in a specific curricular/resource area, including preparation, and maintenance of resources and support to staff and students.

The successful candidate should have a scientific and/or technical background. They should be versatile, independent and able to initiate own workload as well as to work as part of a successful team. They should also have good organisation and computer literacy skills, and be able to plan and deliver projects as directed by the team.

*Please note salary stated is based on full year working (52 weeks) whilst actual salary will be pro rata to term time working weeks. Salary is averaged and paid across the 12 month period.

The closing date for applications is noon on Monday, 20 September 2021 and interviews will be held as soon as possible after that.


Design and Technology Technician & Curriculum Support

Grade 4A/B currently £19,312 p.a.* | 37 hours per week / term time 40 weeks per annum  [38 weeks term time plus 2 weeks]

Required immediately, we are looking to appoint a Design and Technology Technician & Curriculum Support Assistant. Under the guidance of senior staff, provide specialist support in a specific curricular/resource area, including preparation, and maintenance of resources and support to staff and students. The successful candidate should have technical experience of aspects of commercial machinery and ideally CNC machinery. They should be versatile, independent and able to initiate own workload as well as to work as part of a successful team. They should also have good organisation and computer literacy skills, and be able to plan and deliver projects as directed by the team.

*Please note salary stated is based on full year working (52 weeks) whilst actual salary will be pro rata to term time working weeks. Salary is averaged and paid across the 12 month period.
