Higher Level Teaching Assistant – English & Learning Support

This is a permanent position working 32.5hrs per week term time + 2 during school closure periods (40 weeks)
Pay scale Grade 8 A/B £25,927 – £26,446 FTE. Actual Salary = £19,916.07 – £20,314.74 per annum

We are looking to appoint a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to support in the English Department and with students with SEND.

The successful candidates will work with students supporting their achievement. You must have the willingness to work on a one to one, small group and whole class basis with students, providing them with the support, encouragement and understanding that they need in order to participate fully in school life and progress within their academic studies. Full HLTA accreditation training will be offered to the successful candidate if needed.
