Two perfectly mannered ponies were the focus of our animal encounters session after school on Thursday, 5 June.
Year 7 student Phoebe and her mum Julie brought along two of their ponies, ‘Dobbie’ and ‘Magic’, who seemed to revel in the attention. They stood perfectly quiet for the thorough grooming and petting they received.
Phoebe also showed the group a tooth that had been extracted from 20-year-old Magic when it had caused him problems. Everyone was amazed by the size of it!
Year 7 student Vlad said: “The horses were really good! I sang a song to one while I brushed him – it was really cool!”
A big thank you to Julie and Phoebe for kindly sharing their wonderful animals with us.
