After a tense few weeks of exams, there was relief and celebration this morning as Year 11 students gathered one last time for the traditional shirt signing and final assembly.
The students were in buoyant mood as they enjoyed brunch in the canteen before Mr Anderson (Year 11 Director of Learning) led their farewell assembly. Along with humorous video messages from teachers and staff, there were fabulous singing performances by Year 11 students Maise Bridges, Elizabeth Arthur, Mason Armstrong and Mr Anderson (AKA Liam Gallagher!).
As well as thanking the fantastic cohort for all their hard work over the past five years, the Year 11 Student Manager, Miss Elliot, was also acknowledged for the care and nurturing she’d tirelessly given the students throughout their time since Year 7.
We’re looking forward to a glittering Year 11 prom next week!
