We celebrated all things autumnal today with a bustling Harvest Festival. It proved a wonderful way for Year 7 students to engage with local agriculture and learn about sustainability. The range of activities – from exploring animal habitats and crafts, to visiting the ‘pumpkin patch’- made for a memorable afternoon.
Year 8 Enterprise students were involved too, designing games and crafts to fundraise for a good cause. We were particularly grateful for the community involvement, especially the raffle prizes like the unique Highland Cow experience!
Thank you to all the students who were involved, including Sixth Formers, and to all the parents and local businesses for their ongoing support for our Open Spaces scheme and its redevelopment.
