Hot on the heels of the brilliant Brickyard gig, our musicians had another great night at the Summer Concert on Monday. WHS Choir, Orchestra and Rock Bands were joined by pupils from eight local primary schools (Lanercost, Brampton, Crosby-on-Eden, Warwick Bridge, Fir Ends, Longtown, Gilsland and Castle Carrock).
Director of Performing Arts, Mrs Cooper commented: “The pupils from both the primary schools and WHS performed exceptionally well, and there was a real sense of excitement throughout the evening.”
Tickets are still available for Wednesday evening’s concert – which promises to be another wonderful event. Be assured, performances will be finished well before 7.30pm, in good time for kick-off at the next England match!
