Going above and beyond in many aspects of her school life, Francesca in Year 8 is a truly deserving recipient of this week’s Headteacher’s Award.
During our recent Open Evening, Francesca was an exceptional ambassador for the school. While supporting in the library, she spoke confidently and enthusiastically with numerous prospective parents, showcasing the very best of William Howard. She demonstrated an impressive knowledge of all aspects of school life, discussing subjects such as English, the library, homework, GATs, support available for students, and our school values. Francesca frequently referred to these values in her conversations and took great pride in showing families around the school. Her friendly, approachable manner and positive attitude made a lasting impression, with several parents taking the time to comment on how brilliantly she represented the school.
Francesca always goes out of her way to support others. She has willingly supported our Year 7 students, helping them settle into school life, and is a regular attendee at after-school netball. Through her kindness, commitment and positive contribution in lessons, she has accumulated numerous House points, reflecting the way she consistently demonstrates our core values.
Francesca is a fantastic role model whose enthusiasm and kindness has had a positive impact on students, staff and visitors alike. She should be incredibly proud of the way she represents herself and our school community.
