This week, our Year 9 Archaeologists focussed on the development of art and technology in Bronze Age Britain.
Pupils looked at a range of Bronze Age pottery designs and had a go at some ‘experimental archaeology’, using a variety of tools to make decorative marks in clay. They used a range of tools that would have been available at the time such as shells, sticks and twine, and modern modelling tools to replicate bone and antler points.
The Archaeology lessons are part of our Year 8 and 9 Character Curriculum.
