A huge thank you to Brampton Fire Service and Mr Mallinson for supporting our Mountain Runners Club this week, when a military theme to Thursday night’s conditioning session came in the form of an assault course. The Fire Brigade kindly came along to supply some typical Cumbria weather that the runners have become accustomed to. With it came some glorious mud and added fun!
Apologies were offered to parents for the resulting bags of muddy clothes, and to the staff who had the unenviable task of mopping the changing rooms afterwards.
The runners are hoping to stay dry for the next run – a Talkin Tarn Christmas Fun Run!
