We are delighted to celebrate the GCSE results of our students and the culmination of years of hard work and determination.
We are incredibly proud of everything our students have achieved academically. Their results reflect the commitment they have shown throughout their time here at William Howard, supported by the encouragement of their families and the dedication of our staff.
However, while we celebrate their academic success, we are equally proud of the young people they have become. They leave us not only with qualifications, but with the personal qualities that will enable them to make a valuable contribution wherever their future takes them.
Headteacher Kath Pigdon said: “While results day provides an important moment to celebrate academic achievement, it is only a small snapshot of each student’s journey at WHS. What makes today particularly poignant is not just the grades our students have achieved, but the amazing young people they have grown to be during their time with us.”
She continued: “I would also like to take this opportunity to thank both our staff and our families, these achievements are the result of a true team effort and today is a celebration for our whole school community. On behalf of everyone at WHS, I would like to congratulate all of our students and wish them every success and happiness for the future. Whether they are continuing their studies with us in Sixth Form or moving on to new opportunities, we have no doubt that they will make a positive contribution wherever they go.”
