Last summer, we were delighted to hold our eighth LAMDA Examination session at WHS, with fifteen talented students from Years 9 and 10 taking examinations in Solo Acting at Level 2 and Level 3.
We are now incredibly proud to celebrate their fantastic results! Every single candidate passed, achieving either a Merit or a Distinction — a wonderful achievement that reflects the commitment, talent and determination of our students.
Their teacher, Ms Lewis, is rightly pleased with their outstanding results and the progress they have made, saying: “Our students worked exceptionally hard in preparation for their examinations, showing dedication and perseverance throughout. They put their best efforts into every aspect of their preparation.”
Students completing the Level 3 examinations also gained UCAS points, which can contribute towards future university applications, making this achievement an even more valuable addition to their educational journey.
At WHS, we are pleased to offer LAMDA Examinations as part of our Drama Peripatetic Programme. Opportunities such as these are an important part of our commitment to providing students with a wide range of experiences that enable them to discover their talents, build confidence and develop their skills, character and resilience.
Congratulations to all of our students on this fantastic achievement! We look forward to seeing where your talents and determination take you next.
