A huge well done to the WHS team who won the CET Innovate Competition last Thursday. Their creativity and innovation truly shone through with their project named ‘Your Haven – We’re all in this together’ – a design for a lifesaving, sustainable, inter-connecting support structure for refugees.
The CET Innovate project that takes place across all CET schools is designed to promote a range of problem solving, design, teamwork and public speaking skills in the students. The teams from each school within the trust had to pitch their ideas to an external judging panel at the competition held at The Whitehaven Academy.
This was the third year of the annual event and the third time WHS have taken home the top honours in the secondary category, so we have very reason to be exceptionally proud of Eduard, Henry, Max and Oliver!
