On Wednesday evening (20th March), the Year 7 football team progressed to the City Cup finals at Brunton Park after beating Caldew 6-2. An outstanding performance from the team with the pick of the goals coming from Theo Mckey striking the ball into the top corner from distance!

Then on Thursday 21st March, the combined Year 7/8 Girls Hockey Team gave a great team performance, ending the season on a high! In very windy and wet conditions, the girls displayed a strong presence against Nelson Thomlinson School winning the match 4-2. Throughout the game, the girls showed good passing, resilience in defence and some excellent attacking play. Special mention to Aoife McAlister and Jessica Ostle for their goal scoring efforts and to Abigail Fiddler for her first match. Player of match this week goes to Aoife McAlister, for her endless contributions to play.
