2026 is the National Year of Reading, encouraging everyone to discover books and stories that reflect their own interests and passions. Today certainly embraced that message, with plenty of hobby-focused reading and our football theme bringing the Page to Pitch initiative to life. It was fantastic to see students making connections between sport and reading, showing that there really is something for everyone.
One of the highlights of the day was our session with Helen Haraldsen, whose enthusiasm and engaging presentation was enjoyed by everyone. We are so grateful for her time and hope this is the start of future collaborations. We would also like to thank Open Spaces for their continued support and partnership in helping make the day such a success.
