Over 30 students, from Year 7 through to 13, completed Trinity Musical Theatre and Drama exams recently; all passing with either distinction or merit in their Grades 4 – 8.
The examiner commented on the standard of their work saying, “Students at the higher grades were the same standard as full-time drama school students.”
Miss Inglesfield and Mrs Buckley are exceptionally proud of the students’ achievements.
Some students from Years 9 and 10 also took Level 2 and Level 3 LAMDA examinations in Solo Acting, and we are proud to announce that they all did exceptionally well! All passing with either Merit or Distinction.
Their teacher, Ms Lewis, is delighted with the results and commented: “The students worked incredibly hard in preparation for their examinations and it most definitely paid off!”
Year 10 students who took Grade 6 Bronze Medal (Level 3) also gained UCAS points towards possible applications to university.
We are proud to offer LAMDA Examinations in school as part of the Drama peripatetic programme.
