We are continuously astounded by the range of talents and interests our students pursue. Ava Little is one such example; last weekend she competed in the Equestrian Vaulting English Championships in Warwickshire, taking part in the pre-novice team and individual events.
Equestrian vaulting can be thought of as gymnastics and dance on horseback. Although Ava is a relative beginner to the sport, she did very well to come eighth in her individual class on Dante, who is over 17 hands high. Her team were placed FIRST in the Canter/Walk Pre-Novice event on their horse, Lennox, who after 16 years of competing, retired after this event.
Well done Ava, it obviously takes lots courage and determination to practice this pursuit!
