45 music students from all year groups, performed to a packed audience at the Source Collective music venue in Carlisle last week. Students performed numbers by bands such as the Foo Fighters, Bon Jovi and Nirvana. One member of the audience observed “I can’t believe how confident these youngsters are and they obviously love it too!”
Miss Maclachlan commented “the students have worked incredibly hard over the past few months practising for this event, at home and afterschool. Some students didn’t even play an instrument at the start of September, so to stand up in front of a live audience like this and perform with such commitment is a fantastic achievement.”
The William Howard summer concert is on the 16th and 17th July, we hope to see you there.
