We were delighted to welcome Peter and Moira Hart into school to deliver a talk on the experiences of Peter’s mother, Kitty Hart Moxon, during the Holocaust.
Kitty’s story is one of incredible resilience and highlights the horrors of discrimination and prejudice in our society, and how it resulted in the persecution and systematic murder of the Jews of Europe and other minority groups during the 1930s and 1940s. The students showed incredible levels of respect and absorbed every word of Peter and Moira’s incredible talk. It has left a lasting impression on each and every one of them, and the lessons they have taken away are already being discussed.
