Year 9 Netball
On Tuesday, two Year 9 Netball teams took part in the City Tournament at Trinity. Both teams played brilliantly against tough opposition from Trinity, Caldew, RRMA, Austin Friars and RRCA.
Team 1 made a fantastic start to the tournament, winning their first three games to qualify into the top half of the draw. They then went on to win two out of their three games, finishing second overall in the tournament and qualifying into the County Tournament at Sedburgh.
Team 2 played well in their first couple of games against strong teams from Trinity and Caldew. Following these games, the team showed fantastic resilience and came back to win their last three games.
Year 8 Football
The Year 8 Football team were back to winning ways this week with a 4-1 win over RRMA in a City and County Cup double header. Goals from Rowan Armstrong, Theo McKey, Jayden Nixon & Frank McHale. Good Luck in the next round lads!
Year 8 Rugby
Our Year 8 boys enjoyed a rugby festival at Penrith Rugby Club, on Thursday. They played four games and demonstrated great resilience improving with every game. Scores were not kept as it is based on personal development.
