Artwork produced by a group of students on Character Development Day at the end of summer term, is now on display at RSPB Geltsdale. The ‘bio-blitz’ themed exhibition is open until the end of November and includes pieces from children at Hallbankgate Village School and Brampton Arts & Crafts Club.
Local artist Kathy Kemp, worked with the students to create artistic representations, inspired by the work of artist Kurt Jackson. The study saw the students explore the wildlife and plants located in the school grounds as well as the local landscapes.
