Our Year 10 students took an exciting step towards their future careers by taking part in mock interviews with a fantastic range of local employers and organisations. They also explored their post-16 options through inspiring talks from colleges, training providers, employers, and the Royal Navy.
A huge thank you to all of our visitors, including Pirelli, Armstrong Watson, Bendalls Engineering, Thomas Graham, Dodd & Co, Innovia, Avanti, McDonald’s, the NHS, Cumbria Police, Lloyd Motors, our Local Advisory Board, and Brampton & Longtown Rotary, for giving their time and expertise.
Our Year 12 Business students also gained valuable experience by shadowing interviewers, putting their learning about recruitment and selection into practice.
The day concluded with an energetic Royal Navy physical training session, in which a number of students enthusiastically took part.
We are incredibly proud of our Year 10 students, who received fantastic feedback for their confidence, enthusiasm, and professionalism. A brilliant day preparing for bright futures!
