On Friday 20th June, Carlisle Rugby Club played host to a truly special evening as we celebrated the Year 13 Leavers. The atmosphere was full of joy and a few happy tears as staff and students came together to mark the end of an unforgettable chapter.
The evening featured heartfelt speeches from Ms Pigdon (Headteacher), Miss Nicholls (Head of Sixth Form), and the Sixth Form tutors, who shared fond memories, funny stories, and touching moments from the past seven years.
A highlight of the evening was the Student Awards, which brought plenty of cheers and laughter. The emotional high-point came with a beautifully curated video montage capturing the journey of this remarkable year group – a walk down memory lane that reminded everyone just how far they’ve come together. As the night continued, students danced and sang their hearts out, with karaoke proving to be a big hit and running strong throughout the night. It was a wonderful celebration, full of togetherness – a night of making special memories.
While it’s sad to see them go, we are incredibly proud of each and every one of our students. We look forward to celebrating their successes when results are released this summer.
