Smiling faces filled our astro-turf pitch again this morning, when our Year 9 Sports Leaders welcomed more young primary pupils to another multi-sports Festival.
As part of our Character Curriculum, students in Years 8 and 9 can opt to become Sports Leaders – a great way to apply sports knowledge. The students learn how to structure activity sessions to suit a variety of ages and abilities. They then have a chance to push themselves out of their comfort zones and deliver some of these to younger children.
Our Sports Leaders did a fantastic job today in encouraging the children to enjoy sport, who in turn took part with wonderful enthusiasm.
