William Howard School hosted its seventh LAMDA examination session at the beginning of February. Thirteen students from Years 7, 8, 9 and 12 took Solo Acting examinations at Levels 1, 2 and 3. We are delighted to announce that every student achieved either a Merit or Distinction — an outstanding accomplishment that reflects their commitment, talent and determination.
Under the guidance of Ms Lewis, students dedicated themselves to rigorous preparation, and their hard work has been rewarded with an exceptional set of results.
A special congratulations goes to Year 12 students AJ, Beth and Isabella, who completed their Level 3 Grade 8 Gold Medal Solo Acting examinations. In addition to achieving excellent results, they have earned valuable UCAS points to support their applications to Higher Education. Having participated in LAMDA examinations throughout their time at William Howard School, they conclude their LAMDA journey with a remarkable achievement.
We are proud to offer LAMDA examinations as part of our Drama Peripatetic Programme. This provision reflects our commitment to providing a breadth of opportunity, enabling students to develop performance excellence alongside confidence, resilience and character.
