We were delighted to welcome in our new cohort of students for their ‘Stepping up to William Howard School’ induction day. It was a chance for the Year 6 pupils to experience a school day at WHS and meet their new form tutors and other key staff. They learnt about ‘The William Howard Way’ and made their first entries in their brand-new Records of Achievements. Taster lessons included Science, Drama, History, Spanish, Geography, Music, Food Technology and French. Some groups had a chance to light a Bunsen burner for the first time!
We hope they enjoyed the day and are very much looking forward to having them join us as Year 7 in September.
