Our Year 12 students travelled to Northumbria University for an Undergraduate Open Day on Friday 26th June, joined by students from Haydon Bridge Sixth Form.
Throughout the day, the students explored both the City Campus and Coach Lane campuses, toured the facilities, and gained a real insight into student life. They had the opportunity to speak with academics, meet current students, take part in subject workshops, and attend UCAS-focused talks to support their future planning.
With the sun shining over the River Tyne, students made the most of a fantastic day of exploration and inspiration.
This visit builds on their earlier experience at the UK University and Apprenticeships Skills Fayre, continuing to broaden their understanding of the wide range of post-18 pathways available. Learning from the day will be followed up in PD sessions as part of our Year 12 Future Focus programme.
