This week’s Headteacher’s Awards goes to Thomas Proudfoot in Year 10. Thomas joined us part way through Year 10, but he has made a phenomenal start to life at WHS. Indeed, his considerable haul of House Points are indicative of what an impressive young man he is. In History, he is regularly producing grade 9 answers and has shown an assiduous dedication to the mastery of skills and knowledge. In Languages, he has shown an exceptional work ethic and enthusiasm. He is also a personable, respectful and responsible young man, whom his teachers have enjoyed getting to know. A real self-starter, with a hunger for self-improvement, Thomas is at all times polite and respectful. We are so proud of Thomas for the resilience he has shown in settling into a new school and for his brilliant progress.
