Sixth Form student Nicole Todhunter is the very deserving recipient of this week’s Headteacher’s Award.
Nicole has been helping in Year 8 lessons since the start of September. She’s enthusiastic and passionate about Drama, and it really rubs off on the students. Nicole takes responsibility in the class, making sure folders are ready for the students, helping those struggling with the written elements, taking initiative with practical work and encouraging those who need it. In addition to this, Nicole helps in the Theatre and Dance Clubs.
Recently she had the female lead role in ‘Little Shop of Horrors’ where her performance of Audrey was outstanding. She also took on the responsibility of Assistant Choreographer, choreographing the opening number and other sections, as well as running the rehearsals for these.
She is a Mental Health Ambassador and has been a buddy to a Year 7 student, helping them with school.
Nicole epitomises what it is to be role model, and displays the school values in everything she does. What a star!
