This year, the Chinese/Lunar New Year is observed on Saturday, 10 February, so we celebrated in our canteen and library this week to welcome in the Year of the Dragon.
The canteen was decorated to celebrate the occasion with a special menu for the students to enjoy, including: Sweet and sour chicken, Chinese chicken curry, Chinese mushroom, onion and pea curry, Chicken chow mein, with rice, chips and prawn crackers.
In the library, there was a Chinese New Year quiz for students to attempt. Well done to the winners Jessica Ostle and Thomas Mutter.
