Following the completion of their national GL Assessments in English, Mathematics and Science, our Year 9 students have achieved some excellent results. These assessments have been completed by almost 100,000 students across the country, allowing our students’ performance and progress to be compared nationally.
More than 278 certificates along with 20 House Points were awarded to students who made faster-than-expected progress from their individual starting points in Key Stage 3 English, Mathematics or Science. We would love to have taken a photo of all these students with their certificates, but there are too many of them to fit in!
We are also delighted to celebrate 31 students whose scores placed them in the top 1% nationally:
- 14 students in Mathematics
- 12 students in Science
- 5 students in English
