Lunchtime took an entertainingly musical turn today as teachers and Sixth Form students unleashed their inner superstars and delivered a Children in Need fundraising karaoke spectacular! From power ballads to Disney duets, the performance hall was rocking! And the best part? We raised over £230 for the charity!
For £1 tickets, the audience was treated to a legendary set list:
- Mr Campbell and Jamie Judd – Can’t Take My Eyes Off You (Frankie Valli)
- Mrs Beaumont and Miss Inglesfield – Love is an Open Door (Frozen)
- Ms Ledger – These Boots are Made for Walking (Nancy Sinatra)
- Mrs Hope – Ironic (Alanis Morissette)
- Joe Campbell-Hillsley and Morvan Yerbury – Ain’t No Mountain High Enough (Tammi Terrell, Marvin Gaye)
- Ensemble – Angels (Robbie Williams)
The finale saw everyone join in for an enthusiastic rendition of ‘Freed from Desire’.
Student Participation Lead Mrs Hill said, “A huge well done to our brilliant Student Leadership Team for successfully organising the event, and to the amazingly talented staff and students for their performances. It was a fabulous way to support Children in Need!”
